Ingredients

  • 2 Nos ‏Potatoes (Big)
  • 2 Nos ‏Tomatoes (Big)
  • 1 tsp ‏Cumin seed
  • 2 Nos ‏Onion (medium)
  • 2 tsp ‏Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ‏Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ‏Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbs ‏Fresh cream
  • 2 tsp ‏Coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup ‏Coriander
  • 2 tbsp ‏Oil
  • As per taste ‏Salt

Potato cooked in creamy gravy.



Directions

Preparation

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
  2. Finely chop tomatoes.
  3. Finely chop onions.
  4. Finely chop coriander.

Method

  1. Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds. Let it crackle.
  2. Add onion and saute till golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir for a min.
  4. Add chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric. Add 1/4 cup of water and stir for 2 min.
  5. Add tomatoes, stir and ad 1/2 cup of water. Cover and simmer till the tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add potatoes, salt and 1/2 cup water. Cook till the potatoes are become soft and gravy thickens a little.
  7. Add fresh cream and mix well. Cover and simmer for a min.
  8. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
